Forest Park Hotel

The staff were very kind, generous, and accommodating when our plans changed multiple times. The rooms were clean, quiet, and so spacious. We easily had enough space for a big family of 5! The hotel was under renovations but you wouldn’t know because it was silent in there and we had access to the restaurants and pool/hot tubs at their sister hotels within walking distance. Which was so nice after a full day of skiiing in perfect conditions at Marmot Basin. We have a very happy family after this relaxing vacation!

We were staying at newly renovated room wing in February, which was awesome. There was no breakfast and no amenities available (pool, sauna) at the hotel as it was under renovations, but they kindly offered us to use the near by hotel’s amenities which were a 3 min walk, we liked that. May stay in this hotel again.

Amazing stay from start to finish! The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the whole trip feel special. The bed was super comfortable — I slept great every night. I also loved the kitchen dinette setup, especially the mini dishwasher. Such a convenient and thoughtful touch. My only small note is about the shelf placement in the shower — I kept bumping into it when turning around. Honestly, that might just be a me problem more than anything else. Overall, a fantastic experience and I’d absolutely stay here again!

We booked this hotel online and checked in on December 1. From the moment we arrived, the front desk staff were exceptionally courteous and friendly. There were some renovations happening in the units we originally booked, but the team handled our concerns promptly and professionally. They went above and beyond to accommodate our needs by offering us a different room that perfectly met our requirements, which we truly appreciated. The room and amenities were exactly as described online, which is not always the case with other hotels. Everything was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, making our stay enjoyable from the start. The staff’s helpful attitude and willingness to resolve issues quickly really stood out. We look forward to the rest of our stay and highly recommend Forest Park Hotel to anyone visiting Jasper. Great service, great rooms, and a great experience overall.

We booked here for this weekend (November 21st-23rd), and for the most part it was a great experience. Hotel staff was very nice. I was supposed to stay in a Woodland Wing room but due to renovations they upgraded me to a king room in the Alpine wing free of charge, which I was glad about as I did not know the renovations were still going on when booking a Woodland room. My biggest complaint is that at the time of our booking there was 0 indication that many of the hotel ammenities would be closed. We checked the ammenities page when booking which said everything was open, but I then received an email 2 days before my booking (which is already past their cancellation window) telling me that both restaurants, the pool, hot tub, sauna, and spa were all closed. These were things we checked for when booking to ensure that they were open, so it was frustrating to suddenly get an email 2 days prior to our stay telling us that everything was closed. It does make it rather annoying as it feels like you are missing out on a lot of what you paid for. They do offer "alternatives", but many of them are not really equivalent to the expectation. For instance, we were able to use the pool across the road at the Marmot, however their pool is half the size of Forest Park's pool, and due to it being shared between 2 hotels I imagine during busy weekends that pool would be packed. Overall, the room was very nice, it was clean and comfortable and it isnt too far to go into Jasper's main strip. The staff were also very nice. I would give this place another chance when I come back to Jasper, but the lack of ammenities this time definitely left us a bit disappointed.

I don't often review, but wanted to say thanks. Jasper is one of my favorite little towns on this planet, Forest Park Hotel made a short stay more than wonderful. Their new rooms and affordable (likely introductory) room rates were superb, and all met with fantastic service in a quiet relaxed atmosphere. They did a great job on their renovations so far, and i look forwards to returning. - Best sleep I've had in months.. really.

Great, quiet stay with kitchen. I stayed during renovations and expected not to have some amenities but I was pleased to find out that I was given access to the pool and gym at a couple local sister hotels. My room was cozy, clean, modern and well-equipped. I particularly appreciated the extra blankets for use when relaxing on the couch and the dishwasher.

Forest Park Hotel delivered outstanding value with its spacious, comfortable Alpine Wing rooms and incredibly attentive staff .The beds were cozy, the mountain views from my balcony were stunning, and the amenities—felt truly luxurious for such a reasonable price. I couldn’t have asked for a better combination of comfort, service, and affordability for my Jasper getaway.
